Camera & Photos/Videos

We request access to your camera to let you capture photos and videos. Your photos and videos are stored locally on your device and are automatically deleted after sending or after the time you set. We never upload or store your media on our servers.

Microphone

If you choose to record videos, we may request microphone access. Microphone access is only used for recording video and is never used in the background.

Onboarding Responses & Feedback

If you answer onboarding questions, send us feedback, we may collect this information to improve the app.

Purchase Information

If you upgrade to premium features, payment is handled securely by the Apple App Store. We do not see or store your payment details.

Analytics & Crash Logs

We use Vercel Analytics to help us understand how users interact with our website and improve performance. Vercel Analytics may collect non-personal data such as page views, load times, device type, or general location (region). This information is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

We use the information we collect to:

• Enable the app's features (taking, sharing, auto-deleting media).
• Provide premium features and manage purchases.
• Improve app performance and fix bugs.
• Understand how the app is used (aggregated, anonymous analytics).
• Respond to feedback or support requests.

• All your photos and videos are stored only on your device.
• Once deleted (automatically or manually), they cannot be recovered.
• We do not transmit or store your media on external servers.
• No personal data or cookies are stored for website analytics.

CapTick may use third-party services to provide certain functionality. These services have their own Privacy Policies:

• Apple App Store - in-app purchases
• RevenueCat - purchase management
• Vercel - website analytics

You have the right to:

• You can revoke camera or microphone access at any time in your device settings
• You can delete the app at any time, which removes all data (photos/videos, preferences) stored locally on your device.
• If you contacted us with feedback and want your information removed, you can request deletion by emailing us.
